Katie from Red Carpet Events helped put together another beautiful day as Katie and Austin celebrated their wedding at the Two Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg. The bride and her bridesmaids started their day with some pampering at Salon Vivace in New Town and then returned home to have Lissa Lyerly work on the updo’s. The Belle Arte String Quartet played as the guests gathered for the wedding ceremony at the new Gazebo at Two Rivers Country Club over looking the James and Chickahominy rivers. Jennifer from My Favorite Things created the beautiful flowers for the day, and Williamsburg Event Rentals supplied the table linens and chairs. Carrot Tree Kitchens delivered another one of their delicious wedding cakes along with the Cornell University inspired grooms cake. After dinner everyone danced late into the evening to the tunes from the The Main Event Band along with a few guest cameo’s from the groom himself and the unbelievable guitar playing from the grooms younger brother (that boy is one talented guitar player!). My friend and fellow photographer Kelly Mihalcoe ask me to tag along while she photographed Jen and Michaels big day. Man, was I blessed to get to witness this wonderful day full of love, laughter and tears. Kelly spent the morning with the girls as they got pampered and I met up with the guys at the church. The Flower Cupboard in Williamsburg delivered the beautiful flowers and the guys got pinned up, prayed up and ready for the big event to begin. Jen and Michael exchanged vows at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church with Pastor John Ritner of Williamsburg Community Chapel performing the ceremony. After the formal photographs, everyone headed over to The Williamsburg Winery where Second Street of Williamsburg served up a wonderful dinner. Guests enjoyed getting crazy and creating memories in the photo booth set up by Williamsburg Photo Booth. The winery was lit up from lights rented from Stage Right Lighting in Virginia Beach while the dance floor was hopping all night.

Thomas beamed with anticipation as a string quartet played while Kara made her grand entrance at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Their wedding ceremony was filled with laughter and tears, what a joy to witness. Afterwards, the wedding party walked across the street and through the campus of The College of William and Mary to join their guests for a reception at the William and Mary Alumni House. After cocktails and dinner, everyone enjoyed dancing as Ryan from DJ On The Side kept the dance floor jumping. After the heartfelt toasts, guests enjoyed another fabulous cake by Charlie Little. Family and guests ended the evening by gathering outside to send off the newlyweds.

Ashley and Aaron’s wedding had it all. Shayna from Williamsburg Wedding Design out did herself with all of the creative details and it all went off without a hitch. The Williamsburg Winery played host for this wedding and reception. The couples personality was infused throughout the day from the ceremony programs that were both fans and puzzles about the couple, to the food selection, to the beach inspired groom’s cake, to the candy bar (which is quite ironic considering that Ashely is a dentist)! Cathy and Amber and the staff from The Flower Cupboard spent a full week making the flowers for this event and it showed. Not only was Ashley a beautiful bride she was also joy to work with and it shows in the photos. A beautiful Williamsburg sunset was on full display as the vows were exchanged. After the ceremony, family, friends and guests enjoyed a delicious dinner courtesy of A Catered Affair – by Second Street that included Ashley and Aaron’s SoCal influenced fish tacos (yum!). After dinner everyone enjoyed dancing as Chris from DJ On The Side mixed the tunes. Charlie Little delivered another tasty and flawless wedding cake and highly detailed groom’s cake. Another one of Shayna’s world class candy bars was a huge hit with everyone (can you say Cheesecake Caramels) that included little black buckets that you could write on with the attached chalk. As this memorable day came to an end, guests hung personalized polaroids for the newlyweds as they exited.
